German Wind Energy Institute (DEWI)

 


DEWI was founded in 1990 in Wilhelmshaven by the Federal State of Lower Saxony for the purpose of supporting the wind energy industry. Since then the company has accompanied the rapid development of wind energy in all fields, in basic research, development of measuring methods, political decisionmaking and in numerous tasks and services connected with the realisation of wind farms.

Turnus Energy promoted and organized DEWI seminars about "Wind Farm Projects” and "Wind Turbine Techniques” in Australia. After these seminars DEWI was mandated for ongoing consulting jobs by some of the participants.

   

Fuhrländer AG

 

Fuhrländer AG is an independent wind turbine manufacturer with a wide turbine range of turbines. They are currently manufacturing robust turbines from 30 kW to 2.5 MW suitable even in difficult wind conditions.

Turnus Energy acts as Fuhrländer’s sales agent in Australia and New Zealand.

   

Synergy Wind Pty Ltd

 

Synergy Wind Pty Ltd is a project development company focussing on wind energy projects in Australia. Founded in 2004 by experienced renewable energy industry participants from Germany, their mission is to identify and develop viable sites in Australia. The experience gained from the successful development of several wind farms in Europe is their knowledge base.

Turnus Energy was involved right from the beginning in 2004. Turnus Energy assisted Synergy Wind Pty Ltd in all stages, from setting up an Australian Pty Ltd, identifying and securing suitable wind farm sites till developing its first 14 MW project till development approval. Power Engineering Corporation Pty Ltd (PEC)

 

Power Engineering Corporation is part of the Eliott Group of Companies. PEC is environmentally focused, offering environmental friendly wind energy solutions, which includes engineering procurement and construction together with an ongoing maintenance program.

Turnus Energy was involved in selecting a suitable wind turbine for licensing for the Australian market. Turnus Energy supported PEC actively furing business planning for this new business field of the Eliott Group of Companies. Turnus is also involved in sourcing and securing components, negotiating Joint Venture or orther manufacturing partnerships for wind turbine blades and gear boxes for Australia’s first turbine manufacturer.

   

Energie-200

 

Energie-200 is a renewable energy company focused on the development of specialized heat pumps. Their heat pumps are characterized by their high efficiency, reliable design and low operating costs. Energy 200 is currently seeking manufacturing or Joint Venture partners in the Pacific region.

Turnus Energy has been mandated by Energie-200 to identify suitable, interested refrigeration/heating engineering companies who are interested in technology transfer or distribution of Germany’s most economic and highly efficient heat pump technology for the Pacific market.
