Turnus Energy is the consultancy firm for renewable energy, energy efficiency and clean technology for the Pacific region.
Mission Statement
Turnus Energy's mission is to assist companies in the renewable energy, energy efficiency and clean technology industry in their development and international expansion in order to promote an environmentally friendly and sustainable energy industry.
Team
Christian Q. Spitzner
Managing Director
Christian has 20 years of management experience in various markets, particularly Renewable Energy, Publishing, and IT. Since early 2002 he has focussed on emerging renewable energy markets outside of Germany.
Christian’s business experience began in 1987 while still a student of electrical engineering. At that time he co-founded an IT magazine that remains a leading computer magazine in the German market. From there he founded a publishing house in 1991 that published over 400 IT-related books. Prior to establishing Turnus Energy, Christian was CEO and founder of a successful IT company which was one of the first developers of internet software in Germany (1995-2001).
Manfred Daberto
VP Renewable Energy Products & Services
Manfred is a Marketing and Sales Management Professional with experience in the marketing industry working as Sales Manager and Marketing Assistant/Coordinator.
After finishing the Hotel Management School Manfred completed two degrees (International Business Administration and International Economics) at the University of Innsbruck and the Manchester University Institute of Science and Technology – School of Management. Since 2003 Manfred has worked in different Marketing and Sales roles and worked as a team leading Marketing and Sales Manager in the IT industry.
He joined Turnus Energy in 2008 and has gone on to play a pivotal role in the development and management of new projects.
Rudolf Heydecker
Specialist Renewable Energy Products & Services
Rudolf is a Diplom Engineer in Mechanical and Process Engineering who started his career in 1983 with Brückner Maschinenbau GmbH in Germany where he was working in Sales and Technics. In 2000 he focused on the wind industry and became President of Pfleiderer Wind Energy GmbH, Germany. As President of Multibrid Entwicklungs GmbH he developed and built the first 5 MW wind turbine especially for off-shore application in Bremerhaven. For on-shore he took over WINDTEC Anlagenerrichtungs- und Consulting GmbH, Austria, reworked and industrialized their turbines to sell licenses all over the world. The first license was sold to Ebara Co. Japan. After Pfleiderer AG decided to concentrate on wood the on-shore technology was sold to Fuhrländer AG and off-shore to Prokon Nord Energiesysteme GmbH. In 2005 he joined DMT Technology GmbH, Austria as CTO and COO and became General Manager of DMT S.A., France. During his travels across Australia in 2009 he rediscovered his passion for the wind industry. When DMT Technology GmbH was taken over by Andritz AG he decided to follow his vision; Rudolf is now working as a Consultant for Renewable Energy Products & Services at Turnus Energy.
Philipp Krützfeldt
Renewable Energy Products & Services
Philipp is a student of International Business and Management at the University of Osnabrueck, Germany. His interest in renewable energies and the knowledge he gained during his studies give him a comprehensive view of the energy industry. The international focus of his study program and his foreign experiences allow him to be an essential component to the team.
Philipp has joined Turnus Energy in July 2011 and will be completing his work placement with us.
Moritz Kelm
Renewable Energy Products & Services
Moritz Kelm is a German student of International Technical Communication at the University of Applied Sciences in Flensburg. His studies give him insights in technical aspects of the energy industry. His experience in business communication allows him to complete the team in a perfect way. Moritz has joined Turnus Energy in August 2011 and will be completing his semester abroad with us.
Daniel Nöckel
Renewable Energy Products & Services
Daniels knowledge of Real Estate Management, Facility Management and Renewable Energy are a perfect complement to our team. His Project Development skills will help to grow new and current projects of the company.
