Founder & Managing Director

Christian Q. Spitzner

Christian Spitzner has 20 years of management experience in various markets, particularly Renewable Energy, Publishing, and IT. Since early 2002 he has focussed on emerging renewable energy markets outside of Germany. Most recently he acted as a consultant and Project Manager for a wind farm development company, responsible for the development of a $40 million wind farm in Australia.

Christian’s business experience began in 1987 while still a student of electrical engineering. At that time he co-founded an IT magazine that remains a leading computer magazine in the German market. From there he founded a publishing house in 1991 that published over 400 IT-related books. Prior to establishing Turnus Energy, Christian was CEO and founder of a successful IT company which was one of the first developers of internet software in Germany (1995-2001).
